Three Levels of Services provided:
Level 1: Set up new books chart of accounts and complete one month of bookkeeping to get you started, provide unique individual training for your business and document processes. You will do it yourself for the remainder of the year and I can review it quarterly or as frequently as you request.
If you already have your bookkeeping set up and completed a few months on your own, that’s great! I can review your current books and make suggestions on how you can improve them. I can provide you with the above and make sure you are doing everything efficiently so your not wasting your time when you could be utilizing simple short cuts.
Level 2: Complete the first few months of bookkeeping for you, linking accounts where necessary, and automating as much as possible. You can reference my work to figure out how to do the remainder of the year. I can review your books as frequently as you need and make suggestions where necessary. This is a very good way to make sure you are doing the books as accurate as possible and gives you a way to reference work done by a professional when you need that extra reassurance.
Level 3: We complete all your bookkeeping from January to December and send you completed financial statements. This is recommended for clients that do not have enough time to dedicate to their bookkeeping. Most people know the value of their time and find out quickly that QuickBooks is another system that they would have to learn. Although, it is not a difficult system to learn, it is time consuming and many times efforts can be lost due to errors that just have to be redone by someone who knows QuickBooks and accounting.
Bookkeeping is the most useful when you have it as current as possible year round. Your financials show you how your business is doing and where your money is going. It helps you make decisions about your company and helps direct you in tax planning which will save you money at year end. Most importantly, you are responsible to prove to the IRS what your taxable income is and good record keeping falls on your shoulders as the business owner. You bear the burden of proof if you ever get audited. Therefore, rushing through bookkeeping is a bad idea and should not be held off until year end.
Remember we are professionals that know Quickbooks and accounting. If you hire someone else cheaper, most likely they do not know QuickBooks and/or accounting. They end up taking twice as long and costs you more overall. Which would you rather have? Know that your bookkeeping is done right the first time and hire us!
